During this time of unprecedented upheaval, we at Indies United are committed to supporting our
schools, libraries, bookstores, and other literary groups as we all learn to navigate our new normal.
Below you will find the programs we are currently offering.
Zoom with Us
Have you ever wanted to talk to the author about the book you just read? Now is your opportunity.
Every author that is participating in this program will be offering one free ebook and one hour with
the author for a virtual Q&A for your book club, library reading group, or classroom with a 5 book
minimum purchase (ebook or paperback). They will also be offering discounts for each group
purchase and other incentives. To find out more information about this program, please contact Lisa

Library Outreach
In recent years there has been a growing trend for publishing houses to limit or restrict libraries in
their ebook purchases. We at Indies United do not support this stance. We believe libraries play an
important role in their communities and that restricting access to books is wrong. So, we are going
against the trend and will be offering ebooks from select authors to libraries for free and no metered
purchasing limits on any of our books in any format. To find out more information about our
Outreach program, and how to obtain these books, please contact Lisa Orban at

also be found in Baker & Taylor, Overdrive, Garners and other library purchasing sites.
Look for the Yellow Diamond for participating authors in this program.
Book It!
For local independent bookstores, many of our authors are offering direct purchasing discounts for
their books and consignment sales. Other incentives may include signed copies and/or bookmarks or
signed book cards. In addition, these authors will be offering a free one hour virtual book reading and
Q&A for your patrons with a minimum 5 book purchase. To find out more information about our
Book It! program, and how to obtain these books, please contact Lisa Orban at

title in your email inquiry.
