page 249," I began. "We are
going to be reading 'One
Ordinary Day With Peanuts'."
I paused, realizing I did not
say 'peanuts'.
Twenty-four twelve year
olds laughed hysterically. So
did I. Their eyes watered. So
did mine. One girl laughed so
hard, she squeaked out, "I
gotta pee," which set off
another round of laughter.
I leave you to figure out, if
you did not already, what I
said instead of 'peanuts'.
